Rebecca Malicsi

Rebecca Malicsi, Director, Public Relations & Advocacy of IPAC, achieves our fundraising goals with a particular focus on special events and corporate sponsorships. She is experienced in conducting a variety of fundraising events, as well as providing assistance and oversight for other special activities. Her responsibilities include working with development team members to coordinate public education events, targeted speaking opportunities, planning corporate brownbag lunches, and coordinating other programmatic events. Her oversight provides direction, guidance, support, and supervision to the affiliated organizations, volunteer coordinators and database managers.

In addition to her duties with IPAC and the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), Ms. Malicsi has served as a board member for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce (ORCC), UCF Multicultural Adviser and Vice-Chair of the Asian American Heritage Council (AAHC), and the Mayor’s MLK Commissioner Ambassador. Prior to relocating her family to Orlando, she was active in Melbourne, FL where she served as President of the Filipino American Association of Brevard County (FAABCO).

Ms. Malicsi also founded and served as President of the National Exchange Club both in Brevard and Osceola counties, and because of her unwavering dedication to worthwhile projects in her community, she was made a recipient of the National Award for Volunteerism in 1996. She was also chosen by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to participate in the FBI Community Outreach and is a graduate of the FBI Citizen Academy.  She is one of the judges for Florida Future Business Leaders of America (Florida FBLA)/Phi Beta Lamda yearly.

Her ongoing affiliations also include the Leadership Orlando Alumni Association, Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, the National Mortgage Professional Association (NAMP) and the Florida Mortgage Professional Association (FAMP).
